What we believe
The Holy Bible
We believe that the Bible, the sixty-six books in the Old and New Testaments are the written words of God, that it was given by inspiration of God, that it is therefore, inerrant and infallible, and that it is the sole authority in all matters of faith and practice. We believe that God preserved His words by inspiration, for the English speaking world in The King James Bible.
We believe that the Godhead exists eternally in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Ghost, "these three are one", the "I AM THAT I AM" of Exodus 3:13-15
We believe that salvation, in this dispensation, is by grace alone through faith alone in the blood Jesus Christ shed at Calvary and placed on the mercy seat in heaven. At the moment of salvation the Holy Ghost indwells the new believer and seals him eternally and unconditionally. Anything more is damnable heresy, sending them to hell.
We believe that all born-again believers are members of the body of Christ at the moment they were saved. The local church is the manifestation of God's program for this present age. It is composed of saved people who have been scriptural baptized (immersed) as a testimony of their salvation. There are two ordinances in the local churches: Believers Baptism and the Lord's Supper. We believe that the local church is autonomous, that it is the only agency which carries out the great commission, and that its only officers are bishops (or pastors or elders) and deacons.
Hell is a literal, burning fire. Every man who is not saved will immediately enter hell upon death. His soul will abide there in torment until the Great White Throne judgment. There the LORD will cast him into the eternal Lake of Fire to suffer in torments day and night forever and ever.
